Montana State track and field makes the trek back to California for competition this Friday when the Bobcats have their athletes compete in two meets over the course of the day.
A majority of Montana State's travel roster will participate in the Chris Rinne Twilight that is hosted by UC Riverside on its campus. The meet opens with field events starting at 11:30 a.m. MT. Track events begin at 6:30 p.m.
The Bobcats' distance runners are slated to race in the Sound Running College Invite Friday in Irvine. That event begins at 7:30 p.m. MT.
The two events on Friday are scheduled to be the last for Montana State on the West Coast. Montana State is set to host the Bobcat Qualifier in Bozeman at the Bobcat Track & Field Complex on Friday, April 10. MSU will then travel for its next two meets, making a trip to Pocatello for the Bengal Invitational (April 16-17) and a return visit to Missoula for the Cat-Griz Dual (April 24).
Montana State will host the Tom Gage Classic on Wednesday, May 5, to close out its regular season. The Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championships are scheduled to take place from May 12-15 in Ogden, Utah.
Both of this Friday's events will not have live streaming available. Live results for both meets can be found here.
