2020-21 Season: Competed in six meets over the course of the indoor and outdoor schedules … Top triple jump of 47-09.25 (14.56m) came at Hornet Invitational on March 20 … Ended year with an 11th-place finish in the triple jump at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships ... Named a letterwinner by the coaching staff.
2019-20 Season
Indoor (Freshman): Completed season as an all-conference performer … Placed third in the triple jump at the Big Sky Conference Championships in Pocatello … Recorded a mark 48-06.75 (14.80m) which was a lifetime best by nearly two feet … Moved him to eighth in program history in the event … Participated in four events over course of schedule … Had top-three showings in all four triple jump appearances … Also did long jump in the Bobcat Preview (Dec. 5) … Named to the Big Sky Conference Winter and Spring All-Academic Teams … Selected as a letterwinner by the coaching staff.
Background: Completed his prep career in June by earning an individual state title ... Earned the gold medal in the triple jump at the MSHSL Class AA State Track and Field Championships, representing the biggest class of schools in Minnesota, with a lifetime-best mark of 48-01 ... Also took 13th at the meet in the long jump ... As a senior at Mahtomedi, earned section championships in both events, while he claimed his third conference title in the triple jump and took second in the long jump at the Metro East Conference meet ... Picked up a bronze medal in the triple jump at the MSHSL Championships as a junior ... Was a top-four finisher in four events for the Zephyrs at their conference meet that year.
