Track & Field Teams, 19 Individuals Honored with USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

Montana State honored for strong performances in the classroom and on the track

BOZEMAN, Mont. --- The Montana State track & field program took home two team and 19 individual All-Academic awards from the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association after strong performances in the classroom and on the track during the 2025-26 season, the organization announced on Monday.

The men's and women's squads were both named USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams, while 19 individuals were tabbed USTFCCCA All-Academic Athletes, including 13 women and six men. The women's team has earned the team honor for at least 22-straight seasons dating back to 2005, and the men earned their 11^th-straight team honor dating back to 2016. Individually, the Bobcat women's 13 selections marks a program single-season record, surpassing the Bobcats' 12 honorees during the 2025 season. Additionally, the Bobcat men tallied six or more honorees for the fourth-straight season to equal the third-most selections in program history.

To earn the team honor, each squad must compile a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher for all student-athletes on the NCAA Squad List for indoor and outdoor track & field. The women's squad posted a 3.67 cumulative GPA during the 2026 season, while the men posted a 3.41 GPA.

To earn the individual accolade, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher. Additionally, they must have finished the indoor season with a top-96 ranking in any championship individual event or in the top 48 in any championship relay event, have competed at any preliminary or final round of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, or have finished the outdoor season as a top-48 competitor in their respective region. Montana State's women's All-Academic Athletes include Tilde Bjerager, Emma Brensdal, Sydney Brewster, Hailey Coey, Giulia Gandolfi, Caroline Hawkes, Jenavieve Lynch, Kalei Moravitz, Niamh Motley, Hannah Perrin, Tamia Ramos, Tatum Richards, and Madi Siana. The men's honorees are Sam Ells, Matt Furdyk, Jordan Lasher, Chase McGee, Rob McManus, and Destiny Nkeonye.
