The Montana State volleyball team dropped to a strong blocking North Dakota team Friday evening. The Bobcats battled for four sets before dropping to UND 3-1 (23-25, 23-25, 25-18, 23-25).

Three Bobcats recorded double-digit kills, earning a .136 hitting percentage as a team. Natalee Godfrey tallied 15 kills on the night, while Natalie Passeck and Chase Doughty added 13 a piece. Defensively, Kasey Altman led MSU with 19 digs.

Faith Dooley of North Dakota hit .353 percent, with a match-high 17 kills to pace UND's offense. North Dakota out-blocked Montana State 18-6, nine of which were in the first set.

Montana State falls to 3-18 for the season, 1-12 in the Big Sky Conference and North Dakota improves to 18-12, 6-7.

The Bobcats will host Northern Colorado Saturday evening at 7 p.m., as MSU will recognize three seniors in their final home match as Bobcats.
