DILLON, Montana – The Montana State women's volleyball team concludes their spring slate in the last of four scrimmages at University of Montana Western on Saturday.
"We are excited for our final spring scrimmage," head coach Matt Houk said. "This has been a great off season for us. We have done a ton of learning and growing. Overall, we are a young group who has been able to gain some valuable experience over the last four months."
The teams will start the morning with wash drills between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., followed by a full scrimmage beginning at 2:30 p.m. in Straugh Gym. Both sessions are free and open to the public.
"We have taken some great strides, but we have a bit more to go before this spring training block concludes," Houk said. "Fingers crossed that we have all thirteen athletes available for this weekend, as we haven't played in a scrimmage with the whole team healthy yet. It would be great to finish off the spring with all of them lacing up their shoes and competing."
