Coming off four straight matches on the road, the Montana State volleyball team returns to the friendly confines of Shroyer Gym for its final two home games of the season.

Coming off four straight matches on the road, the Montana State volleyball team returns to the friendly confines of Shroyer Gym for its final two home games of the season. The Bobcats will host North Dakota, Friday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m., and will turn around on Saturday as it faces Northern Colorado, also at 7 p.m. MSU's match against the Bears on Saturday will serve as 'Senior Night' for three Bobcats players - Natalee Godfrey, Katie Harrington and Eli Svisco.

THAT WAS THE WEEK THAT WAS:
The Montana State volleyball team played its best match in over a month and had four players in double-figure kills, but it wasn't enough as Big Sky North Division leaders Eastern Washington edged out the Bobcats 22-25, 26-24, 23-25, 25-15, 15-13, Friday night in Reese Court. Senior middle blocker Natalee Godfrey paced the Bocbats with a team-high 15 kills, while hitting .520 from the field. Also in double-figures were Natalie Passeck 13, Kiana Black 11 and Chase Doughty ten. Senior setter Katie Harrington dished out 53 assists, while adding five digs and four kills. Defensively, the Bobcats were led by Kasey Altman with a match-high 27 digs. Freshmen Chase Doughty and Natalie Passeck accounted for half of Montana State kills against Idaho on Thursday night, but is wasn't enough as the Vandals swept the Bobcats 25-19, 25-18, 25-12 in Memorial Gym. Doughty, a product of Pleasant View, Utah, led Montana State with a team-high nine kills, while Passeck added six winners. Junior Alexandra Rader chipped in six kills as well as a team-best .308 attack mark.
BOBCAT PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Senior Natalee Godfrey was once again named Montana State's Player of the Week for her efforts against Idaho and Eastern Washington, last weekend. The 6-1 product of Eugene, Oregon averaged 2.75 kills, while hitting an impressive .415 from the field. In addition, she added five digs, four blocks and a service ace in the two matches. Godfrey had her best outing of the weekend in MSU's 3-2 loss at Eastern Washington. Against the Eagles, she knocked down a team-high 15 kills with a .520 attack mark and three digs. On the season, Godfrey averages 2.62 kills per set and a .278 attack percentage.
