Bobcat Athletics Policy on NCAA Name, Image and Likeness Policy
Statement from MSU Athletics:
On Wednesday, the NCAA Board of Governors adopted a uniform interim policy suspending NCAA name, image and likeness (NIL) rules effective today, July 1. Student-athletes can now benefit financially from their name, image and likeness without eligibility consequences within institutional and state guidelines. As a result, MSU Athletics is prepared to educate and provide resources to support Bobcat student-athletes with this initiative. We are finalizing our NIL policy and creating platforms to assist with education, marketing and monitoring practices. It is and always has been our philosophy to develop champions in the classroom, competition and life and our staff and coaches are prepared to continue that mindset.
