RECRUITING CALENDARS
These calendars are intended to inform coaches of the relevant recruiting periods. Please review prior to engaging in any on- or off-campus recruiting activity. If a question remains as to whether a recruiting activity is permissible during a period, please contact Bobcat Compliance.
Current NCAA Recruiting Calendars may be found here to determine when it is permissible to have contacts or evaluations with prospective student-athletes in your sport.
NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT
The National Letter of Intent (NLI) is a binding agreement between a prospective student-athlete and an NLI member institution. With the agreement, a prospective student-athlete agrees to attend the institution full-time for one academic year (two semesters) and the institution agrees to provide athletics financial aid for at least one academic year (two semesters). If a student-athlete does not fulfill the NLI agreement, he or she has to serve one year in residence (full-time, two semesters) at the next NLI member institution and lose one season of competition in all sports. For more information regarding NLIs, visit National Letter of Intent.
UNOFFICIAL VISIT - Off-Campus Contact within One Mile of Campus Boundary
NCAA Bylaw 13.7.4 permits off-campus contact between a prospective student-athlete and an institutional staff member or student-athlete within one mile of the official campus boundaries.
Please use this map to view the permissible one mile boundary around campus.
