Northern Arizona put up a solid block and out-hit Montana State .261 to .051, en route to a 25-20, 25-23, 25-20 win over the Bobcats, Saturday afternoon in Shroyer Gym.

Northern Arizona (15-4, 5-1) out-blocked Montana State (3-11, 1-5) 16 to 4 and committed 17 fewer hitting errors in the victory.

Loni Kreun and Natalee Godfrey paced the Bobcat attack with eight kills, apiece, while Chase Doughty and Alexandra Rader added four. Defensively, MSU was led by libero Kasey Altman with a match-high 18 digs. Godfrey and Rader also had a team-best two blocks.

NAU was led by Janae Vander Ploeg with 13 kills, eight digs and three blocks. Lumberjack middle blocker Payton Bock posted ten blocks giving her the all-time career NAU record.

Montana State will host Eastern Washington on Thursday night.
