Montana State returns to the Big Sky Conference road for a pair of matches this week. The Bobcats face Northern Colorado, Thursday, Oct. 30 at 6 p.m., in Greeley. MSU closes out the weekend at Northern Arizona, Saturday, Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. (MT) in Flagstaff.

MAKE IT FOUR: For the fourth time this season Montana State senior libero Lauren Lindseth has been named Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday afternoon. Lindseth, a product of Great Falls, averaged 5.57 digs per set as the Bobcats defeated Weber State and Idaho State over the weekend to move into second place in the Big Sky standings. The CMR graduate registered 22 (5.5 dps) digs as Montana State defeated Weber State 3-1 on Thursday night. She followed that performance with 17 saves (5.7 dps) in MSU's sweep of Idaho State, Saturday afternoon. On the season, Lindseth ranks 28th in the nation averaging 4.69 digs per outing. An All-Big Sky Second Team selection, Lindseth is second on Montana State's all-time digs list with 1,843 career saves- second to Allyssa Rizzo (2016-19) 2,122. Lindseth has her sights set on the 2,000-dig plateau, a mark which only four players in the history of the Big Sky Conference have reached.
IT'S A MAD, MAD WORLD: Since moving into the starting rotation against Northern Arizona on Oct. 2, the Bobcats have posted a 5-2 mark in Big Sky action with senior Madilyn Siebler taking swings on the outside. In those seven matches, the Omaha, Neb., product has been in double figure kills on six occasions, including a career-high 21 in MSU's win over Montana on Oct. 11.
MOVIN' ON UP: Lauren Lindseth moved into second on MSU's all-time career digs chart against Northern Arizona on Oct. 2 in Shroyer Gym. Last weekend against Weber State and Idaho State, she totaled 39 digs, averaging 5.57 per contest. Lindseth's career total stands at 1,843 digs. The native of Great Falls moved into ninth on MSU's all-time service ace chart with 122, last weekend.

On the season, Lindseth is averaging 4.69 digs per set, which is second in the Big Sky Conference and ranks 28th in the nation. Lindseth's current total of 366 digs is second in the Big Sky and ranks 49th in the country. She has 17 double-digit dig matches this season, including ten with 20 or more saves.
- Sophomore outside hitter Karli Heidemann recorded 25 kills in seven sets, last week. Heidemann also registered 24 digs (3.43 dps). Against Northern Arizona on Oct. 2, she matched a career-high with 21 kills and added a career-high 17 digs. Heidemann is currently averaging 3.19 kps, which ranks eighth in the Big Sky.
- Senior middle blocker Camryn Greenwald is averaging 1.76 kills per set, while hitting a team-best .349 from the field. Greenwald's .349 attack mark is eighth best in the Big Sky. The Woodbury, Minn., product had a career-high 17 kills in MSU's win over Maryland Eastern Shore on Sept. 4. Greenwald has seven matches this season hitting .400 or better.
- Junior Joelie Spelts has been MSU's top blocker this season. The Gillette, Wyo., product averages 1.05 blocks per set, which includes a season-best seven blocks as the Bobcats dispatched Idaho State, last Saturday. Her current 1.05 bps ranks fifth in the Big Sky.
- Montana State freshmen Teagan Jaynes and Elli Tufto returned to the Bobcat starting rotation after missing several matches due to injuries in mid-September. The duo's return made an immediate impact as the Bobcats have won seven of its last ten matches with the twosome back in the lineup. Jaynes, a setter from Northfield, Minn., is averaging 9.84 assists per set in Big Sky action. She is also averaging .73 kps while hitting .273. In addition, Jaynes has tallied 24 aces and is averaging 1.70 digs per set. Tufto, an outside hitter from Prior Lake, Minn., is second on the squad averaging 2.36 kills per set, while hitting .185. She has been in double figure kills on seven occasions, including a season-best 16 kills against Santa Clara.
