Jaynes, who joined the Bobcat program for spring semester, was a two-time first-team all-state selection at Northfield High School…was named to the 2024 Minneapolis Star Tribune All-Metro Team….was four-year letterwinner for the Raiders and a four-time Big 9 first-team all-conference honoree after leading Northfield to three straight conference titles (2022, 2023, 2024)...recorded 2,500 career assists...was a two-time PrepVolleyball.com national watchlist performer…was an Under Armour All-American Camp participant…high school team ranked numerous times in Minnesota AAA, including No. 1…the Northfield squad was also ranked No. 14 in the USA Today national rankings…AAU National Championships All-Star Award 2022…PrepDig.com Class of 2025 ranked as high as sixth best player in Minnesota… Off the court, Jaynes was an AAU Academic All-American, an academic all-state honoree and a National Honor Society member...daughter of Heidi and Andrew Jaynes...sister Sydney plays at Tennessee...mother Heidi is the Athletic Director at Carleton College...mom played volleyball at Oklahoma and was also an assistant coach at OU before taking over as head coach at Carleton - coached collegiate volleyball for 22 years...dad Andrew played basketball at Western State - was an assistant women's basketball coach at Kansas and Oklahoma - coached against Pat Summitt in 1996 with the Jayhawks.
