Bobcat Men's Tennis Team Visits Eastern Washington on Saturday

MSU squares off with Eagles at 9 am
Montana State's lengthy stretch of road matches continues Saturday when the Bobcats play a Big Sky men's tennis dual at Eastern Washington. The match begins at 11 am MT on the EWU campus.
The Cats enter this weekend's lone match seeking a 2-0 start in Big Sky play, having claimed an earlier victory against Portland State. MSU is 5-5 on the season, while the Eagles stand 0-7 overall, 0-1 in the league after a 7-0 loss to Montana in Missoula.
In the midst of a difficult season in terms of team results, several Eagles have performed well individually. Bruno Ortega owns a 6-8 record in singles play, while Steven Paz has won four matches at No. 1 singles. The pair owns two doubles wins together, as well.
Freshman Dario Ciobotaru paces the Cats with six wins in singles play, primarily and No. 2, while Kanika Jayathilake owns five singles wins and four other Bobcats own four wins. Andras Necz and Max Relic stand 5-1 in doubles play.
After Saturday's match, the Cats play three non-league matches March 10-14 before returning to Big Sky action March 24 at Idaho State.
