Bobcats Add Mid-Year Men's Tennis Player Casey Drake

Casey Drake brings international experience to MSU program
BOZEMAN, Mont. (Sept. 30, 2026) – Montana State added a player to its men's tennis roster Wednesday, announcing that Casey Drake from Bath, U.K., will join the team in January.
Drake comes to Montana State with an ITF ranking of 293 and UTR ratings of 11.55 in singles and 11.71 in doubles. His National U18 ranking is No. 5, and he has two singles and five doubles tournament titles on his ledger.
"Overall, I chose Montana State because I felt it was the right place for me to develop both as a tennis player and as a person," Drake said. "The coaching staff, team environment, community, and the major I'm interested in all made Montana State feel like the best fit for me."
Ceolin looks forward to Drake's arrival. "I am excited to welcome Casey to our tennis family," he said. "He brings a wealth of doubles knowledge with him and high experience playing tournaments all over the world and most recently competing at the Wimbledon Junior Tournament this past summer. He is an awesome young man on and off the court and I can't wait to see the impact that he will have on our team."
Widely recognized for his doubles skill, Drake won ITF titles at J60 Pszczyna, J100 Accra, J60 Accra, J30 Bulawayo and J30 Harare. "I'm looking forward to being part of a team that is building something together and striving for success," Drake said. "I'm excited to work hard with my coaches and teammates, and seeing what we can achieve as a team."
Montana State's fall season continues on Friday at the Dar Walters Invitational at Boise State.
