Montana State track and field embarks on a trip south to Pocatello to participate in Idaho State's Bengal Invitational that runs over a two-day span at Davis Field.
The event will be the first hosted by Idaho State since its facility received a renovation that was completed in November of 2020. It will be the first competitive action the Bengals' track and field program has held at Davis Field in 12 years.

The men's hammer, women's pole vault, long jump, javelin throw, 1,500-meter run, and trials for all sprinting events will also take place Friday. Competition resumes Saturday at 11 a.m. beginning with the remaining field events. Track events are slated to start at 11:30 a.m. with the women's steeplechase.
Teams with athletes competing in the meet include BYU, Montana, MSU Billings, Northwest Nazarene, Southern Utah, Utah State, Utah Valley, Weber State and host Idaho State.
