Bobcats Cruise Past Idaho State in Men's Tennis

MSU earnes sweep in 5-0 win
Montana State won the doubles point and never looked back on Saturday, sweeping Idaho State 5-0 in Big Sky Conference men's tennis action in Pocatello.
Javier Martin Morillas and Kenny Dodd earned an 8-5 win over Josh Goodwin and Cody Miller at No. 3 doubles, then Niklas Brandes and Harry James clinched the point with an 8-4 win over Jamey Swiggart and Austin Miller at No. 1. Markus Schleuter (6-4, 6-0) and Martin Morillas (6-4, 6-0) earned decisive wins to begin singles play, then Harry James captured a 6-3, 6-2 win to seal the victory. Niklas Brandes, who lost one set at No. 1 singles, was the only Bobcat to drop a set on the day.
The win raises Montana State's record to 8-5 overall, 4-1 in Big Sky play. The Bobcats face possibly their toughest challenge todate at Weber State on Sunday.
