Montana State Volleyball Recruiting Class of 2013 Ranked Top 100 in Nation

The incoming Montana State volleyball recruiting class of 2013 has garnered national recognition by PrepVolleyball.com. The Bobcats received High Honorable Mention kudos and rank among the top 100 classes in the nation.
The incoming Montana State volleyball recruiting class of 2013 has garnered national recognition by PrepVolleyball.com. The Bobcats received High Honorable Mention kudos and rank among the top 100 classes in the nation.
The recognition is determined by a panel of collegiate coaches from across the country and represents every conference. Student-athletes are judged on size, strength and impact. Perennial national power Nebraska owns the consensus No. 1 class.
Northern Colorado was the only other Big Sky Conference team recognized. The Bears also received High Honorable Mention status.
“With this being our first recruiting class and it being recognized by an organization that is at the forefront of junior's volleyball it is a very exciting time for myself, my staff and the program as a whole,” said MSU head coach Kyle Weindel. “To me, being a great recruiter means having a genuine excitement about your program, creating relationships, being honest and the ability to sell the vision of volleyball at Montana State. My staff and players have done an exceptional job this past year.”
Montana State's 2013 recruiting class includes; Kennadie Clute, 5-11 OH, Mt. Spokane (Mead, Wash.); Loni Kreun, 6-0 OH, St. Francis (Sacramento, Calif.); Cassie Krueger, 6-0 OH, Flathead (Kalispell, Mont.); Christie Markowski, 6-4 MB, Lake Highland (Orlando, Fla.); Alex Rader, 6-1 RS, Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, Calif.); Anna Sykora, 5-11 S, Stevens (Rapid City, S.D.); Danae Theiler, 6-1 OH, Thousand Oaks (Calif.); Dana Vestman, 5-5 libero, St. Francis (Sacramento, Calif.).
Montana State will open its 2013 schedule at the Wyoming Invitational, Aug. 30-31.
