'Cat Spikers Notch 7-2 Record at Wazzou Spring Invite

The Montana State volleyball team continued its impressive spring season going 7-2 at the Washington State Invitational on Saturday. The Bobcats defeated Seattle 2-0, Boise State 2-0, Central Washington 2-0, split with Idaho 1-1, before dropping a 28-26 decision to Washington State.
The Montana State volleyball team continued its impressive spring season going 7-2 at the Washington State Invitational on Saturday. The Bobcats defeated Seattle 2-0, Boise State 2-0, Central Washington 2-0, split with Idaho 1-1, before dropping a 28-26 decision to Washington State.
“I'm pleased with how our team played and competed,” said first-year head coach Kyle Weindel. “We were able to come from behind on several occasions against very good programs, which as a coach makes me very happy because it shows our mental toughness and perseverance.
“The highlight on the weekend was how we played against Washington State,” Weindel added. “We were able to sustain a high level for much of that set against a very good PAC-12 team. We did some really nice things both offensively and defensively. It was a complete team effort.”
The Bobcats will host its own spring tournament on Saturday, April 21.
