Cats Fall in Five in Flagstaff

Montana State senior Camryn Greenwald recorded 14 kills and a .393 attack mark, while teammate Madilyn Siebler added 15 kills and 11 digs, but it wasn't enough as Northern Arizona outhit the Bobcats .389 to -.059 in set five, en route to a 25-21, 23-25, 25-17, 23-25, 15-8 win over the Bobcats on Saturday afternoon in the Rolle Activity Center.
Aside from the outcome, the match measured up to the first meeting between the two Big Sky rivals on Oct. 2 in Shroyer Gym. In both matches, Northern Arizona (19-5, 9-2) grabbed a 2-1 lead before Montana State (11-11, 6-5) captured the fourth set to force a fifth and deciding game.
In its meeting a month ago, the match went over 2 ½ hours and featured 38 ties and eight lead changes before the Bobcats knocked off the league-leading Lumberjacks 15-13 for the win.

Montana State hosts Montana, Friday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m., in Worthington Arena. The Bobcats defeated the Grizzlies 3-2 earlier this fall in Missoula.
