MSU Men's Tennis Team Plays at Idaho State on Sunday

Cats return to Big Sky action with big showdown...
BOZEMAN, Montana – Montana State enters the heart of its schedule on Sunday as the Bobcat men's tennis team faces Idaho State in Pocatello in a Big Sky contest at 11 am.
The showdown with the Bengals (10-7 overall, 2-1 in Big Sky play) begins a stretch of six matches in 28, all against league foes. "Now that we are done with non-conference, we have shifted our focus towards Big Sky," said MSU coach Rob Bareford. This is a big road test for us on Sunday against the Bengals as we look to stay undefeated in conference."
Montana State owns league wins over Eastern Washington and Portland State, while the Bengals beat Idaho before losing to Sacramento State, and on Friday topped Portland State 7-0. Veterans Wikus Robertse (11-2 overall) and Andreas Kramer (10-4) lead the way for ISU, who has compiled a 21-6 cumulative record at the No. 5 and No. 6 ladder positions this season.
A crew of newcomers lead the Bobcats. Kanika Jayathilake, who joined the program in January, stands 7-2 on the season, while grad transfer Andras Necz is 7-4. Freshman Dario Ciobotaru stands 8-6 overall playing primarily at the No. 1 and No. 2 ladder spots.
After Saturday's match the Bobcats host Sacramento State on Saturday, March 30, at 10 am.
