BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Montana State men's and women's track and field teams are gearing up for their appearances at the 2021 Big Sky Outdoor Track and Field Championships which take place in Ogden, Utah, from May 12-15.
The action begins on the campus of Weber State at the Hick Hislop Track and Stewart Stadium with the multi-events making up the first two days of competition. The full event schedule kicks off at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 14, with the women's hammer throw. The final day of the conference meet starts at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Both of Montana State's squads rank third in the latest USTFCCCA Conference Track and Field Rating Index released for the Big Sky on May 10. Northern Arizona sits atop of both Index rankings followed by Weber State. The men's and women's teams for the Bobcats will each feature a full lineup of 28 student-athletes competing on both sides.
The conference championships will be streamed on Pluto TV channel 1054 and on WatchBigSky.com. The throws area, however, is away from the stadium, so those events will be streamed on Weber State's Track Facebook Page. Fans are permitted to attend the meet, but fans must purchase tickets for Friday and Saturday ($5 for youth/seniors, $10 for adults per day). There are no concessions available, masks are mandatory at all times and fans are asked to follow social distancing guidelines.
