SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – The Bobcat track and field teams completed the first day of the Utah /Weber State Spring Classic on Friday, April 6, at Utah's McCarthey Family Track and Field Complex. MSU's showing was highlighted by three first-place performances and several events that displayed the Bobcats' depth.
"We certainly had a great day," Montana State head coach Dale Kennedy said. "We had some cooperation with the weather and we had a really strong showing in several events on both the men's and women's sides."
McKenna Ramsay and Amanda Jaynes led the Bobcat women by crossing the finish line first in their respective events.
Ramsay crossed the line in the 400-meter run in a time of 56.18 seconds, almost a second faster than her nearest competitor.
