MSU sweeps singles matches

Montana State swept singles matches without losing a set on its way to a 7-0 win over MSU Billings in a men's tennis dual in Billings on Wednesday.

The Bobcats dropped the no. one doubles contest, the only blemish on the day's record. Markus Schleuter, at no. three singles, turned in the most dominant performance with a 6-0, 6-1 victory over J. Hedderig.

"We played well today," said Montana State coach Jared Burnham. "I was very happy with the effort and intensity."

The Cats return to action Saturday, hosting Montana in a non-conference match.
