
Godfrey Named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week

For the first time since 2004 a Bobcat volleyball player has been named Big Sky Conference Player of the Week
Montana State's Natalee Godfrey has been named the Big Sky Conference Volleyball Player of the Week for the matches played the week of October 7 through October 13.
Godfrey was the key cog in the Bobcat machine that posted MSU's first sweep in Big Sky action this fall as Montana State defeated Northern Arizona 3-2 and Southern Utah 3-1.
Godfrey recorded 31 kills, averaging 3.44 kps, while hitting a whopping .519 from the floor for the weekend. In addition, the Eugene, Ore., native averaged 1.44 blocks per set and served two aces, as well.
In MSU's upset of NAU, Godfrey tallied a career-high 16 kills, while hitting .538. The sophomore also posted five blocks as the Bobcats snapped a 13-match losing streak to the Lumberjacks that dated back to the 2006 season. Godfrey followed Friday night's performance with 15 kills, a .500 attack mark and a match-high eight blocks against the Thunderbirds.
