Volleyball Program Announces ‘Coffee with the Coach,’ Saturday

Montana State first-year volleyball head coach Kyle Weindel will hold a ‘Coffee with the Coach’ event, Saturday, Oct. 13 at 9 a.m. at The Daily Coffee Bar on W. College Street.
Montana State first-year volleyball head coach Kyle Weindel will hold a 'Coffee with the Coach' event, Saturday, Oct. 13 at 9 a.m. at The Daily Coffee Bar on W. College Street.
Fans will have an opportunity to ask Weindel questions regarding the program, student-athletes and upcoming matches in a casual setting.
“This will be a great opportunity for the program to connect with the community,” Weindel said. “Historically, the community has done a fantastic job supporting the volleyball program, and we would like to give them more access to the program and to get excited about the great things that are happening.”
The Bobcats are currently 11-5 overall and 5-3 in Big Sky Conference action. In addition, Montana State has seen their NCAA Division I ranking skyrocket from a season-ending 304 in 2011, to its current No. 100 listing.
MSU will host Sacramento State on Saturday night, before entertaining intra-state rival Montana in the annual 'Shakedown in Shroyer' contest on Monday night at 7 p.m. The first 500 fans through the door on Monday will receive a free 'Shakedown' t-shirt.
