Bobcat Spikers Drop Three in Windy City

The Montana State volleyball team dropped a five-set thriller 25-23, 17-25, 25-18, 21-25, 15-8 to Loyola-Chicago on Sunday night to wrap up its three-match trip to the Windy City.

Montana State (0-7) had three players in double-figure kills, including a match high 17 kills from junior Macy Page. Also in double digits were Lauren Curtis 16 and Sarah Horton 12.
True freshman Kasey Schlatter dished out 49 assists and added 12 digs. Schlatter moved into MSU's starting setting position due to a concussion suffered by junior Jennifer Lundquist earlier in the week.
Bobcat libero Nicole Baker paced MSU with a team-high 18 digs.
In its match with DePaul, the Blue Demons outhit the Bobcats .383 to .088 to cruise to a 25-16, 25-17, 25-15 win.
Horton led MSU with a team-high eight kills, while chipping in seven digs.
Montana State opened its trip with an 18-25, 25-15, 25-22, 25-14 setback to Illinois-Chicago. MSU was led by Horton and Rachelle Allen with 12 and ten kills, respectively.
