Bobcat Men's Tennis Team Opens Fall Season, New Era at Boise State This Weekend

Andre Stewart, trio of newcomers open 2024-25 season
The Montana State men's tennis team unveils a new look beginning Friday in Boise, Idaho, when first-year head coach Mateus Ceolin and three newcomers participate in the Dar Walters Classic.
Sophomore Andre Stewart returns for the Cats, and is joined by transfers Harrison Janes (Penn State), Dmitry Bezborodov (Monmouth) and Nishant Dabas (Youngstown State). The weekend features competition from Air Force, Boise State, BYU, Idaho, Idaho State, Nevada, Portland and Weber State. The format provides both doubles and singles competition. Bezborodov and Dabas open up on Friday with a doubles match against a team from Boise State, followed by singles matches against each of those players (Dylan Jaen and Adam Duda). Stewart and Janes square off with Air Force's Langdon Tingleaf and Luke Wolf.
Play continues through the weekend.
