Bobcat Doubles Team Advances to ITA Mountain Regionals Quarterfinals

MSU wins four matches at USAFA on Thursday
The Montana State doubles team of Max Relic and Andras Necz won a pair of matches to advance to the quarterfinals of the ITA Mountain Regional Championships at the US Air Force Academy on Thursday.
Relic and Necz defeated seventh-seeded Valentino Pelligrini and Andreas Kramer of Idaho State 8-7 (8-4) in the first round, then downed William Zulch and Connor Kruger of Weber State 8-5 n the second round. Their quarterfinal match on Friday is against Jayson Blando and Michael Blando of Utah at 9 am.
Relic and Dario Ciobotaru each won singles matches as well on Thursday. Relic beat Maciej Ziomber of NAU 6-4, 6-3. Ciobotaru topped Weber's Matteo Savio 7-6 (8-6), 6-1.
