Freshmen Daan Van Dijk and Jakob Mosvold earn singles wins for Bobcats

Idaho State won the doubles point and three of the first four singles matches to defeat Montana State in men's tennis at Pocatello, Idaho on Saturday.

Freshmen Daan Van Dijk and Jakob Mosvold accounted for Montana State's two singles wins. Two other Bobcat freshmen, Brad Buckland and Jacob Huppin, dropped their decisions.

"Idaho State brought the fight today," said Montana State coach Trey Morris. "Having beaten them twice this year we knew playing them again would be a tough out. We felt confident in our ability, however today we fell just short. We are looking forward to bouncing back with a big match against Boise State (on Sunday)."

MSU and the Broncos meet in Boise at 12 noon.
