Harry James Earns Singles Win but Cats Drop Men's Tennis Match at Utah

Bobcat senior earns MSU's first singles victory of season
Harry James' hot play continued for the Montana State men's tennis team on Saturday, but it wasn't enough as Utah topped the Bobcats 6-1 at the Eccles Tennis Center in Salt Lake City.
James won at No. 3 singles, earning a 6-4, 3-6, 10-8 win over Parker McGuinness, and teamed with Alexander Flink to earn a win at No. 1 doubles. In four matches against national-caliber competition, James' singles victory was Montana State's first of the season.
The Bobcats fell to 0-4 on the season. Montana State opens Big Sky Conference play next weekend, visiting Weber State on Friday at 11 am and Idaho State on Saturday at 9 am.
