MSU Will Travel to Pullman, Wash.
Montana State will return to the course on Monday, Sept. 24, when they travel to Pullman, Wash. for the Cougar Cup, hosted by Washington State.
The two day tournament consists of 36 holes on the first day and 18 on the second. The Palouse Ridge Golf Club has a par 72, 6,239 yard course.
“It will be a test of what we've been working on,” said head coach Brittany Basye. “Out of the five that are going two have played in the tournament and another is from that area so she is familiar with the course.”
After a third place finish two weeks ago at MSU's Bobcat Invite, Paige Crawford will play in the first position for the Bobcats. Senior Molly Dorans will also participate along with three freshmen, Kati Greear, Haylee Folkvord, and Lauren Hausauer.
“I'm excited to get them some college experience and see how they will compete, it's been a long two weeks but hopefully we can pick up where we left off,” Basye added.
Including Montana State, the 14 team field will have four other Big Sky Conference members: Eastern Washington, Portland State, Sacramento State, and Montana. BYU, Cal-Berkeley, Cal-State Fullerton, Gonzaga, Santa Clara, UC-Irvine, Idaho and Nevada will also be competing.
Live results will be available at www.golfstat.com.
