Six Golfers Named WGCA All-American Scholars

Award recognizes outstanding academic and athletic achievements in women’s college golf
BOZEMAN, Mont. --- The Montana State women's golf team placed six golfers on the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team for the 2025-26 season, the organization announced on Monday.
Sailor Graham, Lauren Greeny, Eva Heinz, Maddie Montoya, Lauren Nau, and Norah Seidl all received the honor for their outstanding academic and athletic achievements throughout their careers. Montana State's six honorees tie the most in a season in program history, matching the number set by the 2024-25 and 2020-21 Bobcat golf programs.
The WGCA All-American Scholar program recognizes the high-level academic achievements of college golfers, with the selection criteria marking some of the most stringent in college athletics. To be selected to the All-American Scholar team, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher, be an amateur on the team's roster through the conclusion of the team's season, and have played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship.
Heinz and Montoya took home the honor for the third time in their respective careers, Greeny earned the honor for the second time, and Graham, Nau, and Seidl were named All-American Scholars for the first time thanks to strong performances on the course and in the classroom this season.
Montana State broke numerous records during a historic 2025-26 season. The Cats posted a school-record four-player stroke average of 295.17, placed a program-record five golfers on the All-Big Sky team, and sent a competitor to an NCAA regional for just the second time in program history thanks to Seidl's Big Sky individual medalist honor. Additionally, Montana State took home four Big Sky Golfer of the Week awards and compiled three individual victories, one team tournament win, and seven top-three team finishes during an impressive 2025-26 campaign.
