Crawford leads Bobcats in Fall Season Finale

MSU Finishes Tied for Eighth
Moving up four places on the final day, Paige Crawford finished in a tie for 12th place to lead the Bobcat women's golf team at the Santa Clara Colby Invitational on Tuesday. (Final Results)
Crawford's round two score of 75 left her with a 153 (78-75) for the two-day tournament at Silver Creek Valley Country Club. MSU finished in a tie for eighth in the 11-team field with a score of 320-313-633.
Molly Dorans also carded a 75 (83-75) on Tuesday to finish in a tie for 24th. Kelly O'Brien tied for 32nd place (80-80) and Pamela Calderon Rojas ended in a tie for 54th place (84-83). After having one of the better scores on Monday, Kati Greear fell to 57th with a round two score of 90 (79-90).
"We had a good fall, but we're ready to take some time off and head into off season workouts," said head coach Brittany Basye.
Ball State finished as champions of the tournament with a score of 605 (303-302). Ball State's Jenna Hague took home the individual title leading all competitors with a 142 (72-70).
The tournament concludes the fall portion of the Bobcats season. MSU will take a break from competition until February 11 when they will open up the spring schedule by traveling to The Lumberjack at Ocotillo Golf Course in Chandler, Ariz.
