Cross Country (Senior): Finished his career as just the second Bobcat in program history to be a two-time All-American in cross country, joining Shannon Butler (1989-90) ... Led the Bobcats by placing 26th at the NCAA XC Championships with a 10-kilometer time of 29:36.8, the fourth-best finish by a Montana State competitor in program history ... Was the No. 1 runner as Montana State finished 13th as a team at the NCAA XC Championships, their second-best team finish in program history ... Through the first kilometer, Richtman sat in 204th. However, moving up to 153rd in the next kilometer and to 108th through three kilometers, the veteran continued to steadily move his way up to 50th through 6k before finding a way into the top-30 with a kick on the final stretch ... 2020-21 Season: Ran in all three of MSU’s indoor meets, competed in the Big Sky Cross Country Winter Championships and Big Sky Outdoor Championships … MSU’s third fastest finisher at the Big Sky cross country meet and placed 22nd overall with a time of 25:13.0 … Took 12th in 10,000 at the Sound Running College Invite (April 2) … Time of 30:14.14 is the 10th fastest in program history … Had a season-high second-place showing and ran a personal-best 14:34.66 in the 5,000 at the Hornet Invitational (March 20) … Ended year by taking 15th in the 10,000 and 23rd in the 5,000 at the Big Sky outdoor meet ...
