Background: Graduated from Gallatin High School in 2022 with the school records in the long jump (23-1), high jump (6-4) and the 110-meter hurdles (14.99) ... Was the Montana Boys Track Gatorade Player of the Year ... Capped off his high school career with MHSA Class AA state titles in the long jump and the high jump ... Also placed third in the 110-meter high hurdles and sixth in the 300-meter intermediate hurdles at the state meet as a senior ... Helped Gallatin place ninth in the 4x400-meter relay at the state meet as a junior ... Qualified for the state meet for the first time as a freshman, where he placed eighth in the high jump ... Was named the 15-16-year-old Athlete of the Year as a freshman ... Also lettered in football.
