2011: Indoor- Took eighth place in the weight throw at Big Sky Championships … season’s best distance in the weight throw was 16.03m at the Mountain States Games (Jan. 29).
2010: Indoor- Finished 11th in the weight throw at Big Sky Championships … best distance was 16.03m. Outdoor- Advanced to the NCAA West Region Meet after finishing eighth at Big Sky Championships … earned one gold medal in outdoor at the Cat-Griz dual in the discus.
2009: Indoor- Competed solely in the weight throw … finished in 11th place at the Big Sky Championships … season’s best throw of 16.35m at the Montana State Fleet Feet Sports Dual on Feb. 13. Outdoor- Big Sky Outdoor Champion in the discus after throwing a season’s best distance of 48.40m … also competed in the hammer throw at conference meet … best performance in the hammer was 47.46m at the MSU Invitational … took first place in the discus at the Cat-Griz Dual and the Tom Gage Classic.
2008: Outdoor- Competed at the Big Sky Championships where she finished fourth in the discus with a distance of 44.38m … also competed in the hammer throw at the BSC Championships … season best distance of 48.52 in the discus came at the Cat-Griz Dual on May 9 … best throw of 48.34 in the hammer came at the Long Beach State Invitational on April 19.
Prior to MSU: A 2007 graduate of Newberg High School … earned four letters in track and field, three in volleyball and one in basketball for the Tigers.
Personal: Kirsten Alese Lee … born July 10, 1989 … daughter of John and Helen Lee … majoring in Agriculture Business.
