2011: Indoor- As a freshman, competed at the Big Sky Championships in the shot put where she finished 13th … season best distance in the shot was 12.54m at the Bobcat Open (Feb. 18) … best distance in the weight throw was 12.37 at the MSU Triple Dual (Feb. 4) Outdoor- Competed in the shot put and the discus … highest finish of the season was second place in the shot at the Cat-Griz Dual (Apr.23) with a lifetime best distance of 12.66m.
Prior to MSU: A 2010 graduate of Shepherd High School … earned four letters in track and field, two in volleyball and one in basketball … set the school record in the discus (138-00.00) and shot put (40-07.00) in her junior and senior seasons … two-time state champion on the discus … won the shot put as a senior … all-state academic selection … member of National Honor Society.
