2020-21 Season: Joined MSU’s all-time top 10 list in the javelin … Throw of 214-11 (65.52m) earned him first place at the Chris Rinne Twilight (April 2) and moved him to 10th in program history … Qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round and placed 46th overall … Ranked 30th going into the regional meet … Placed 10th at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships with a throw of 195-04 … Had eight top-five finishes heading into the Big Sky meet.
Background: A three-year standout on the Beaverhead County High School track and field team … Primarily competed in the javelin … Made two MHSA Class A State Championship appearances … Took fourth in the event as a sophomore and earned a silver medal as a junior … Set prep career best throw of 182-10 during his junior campaign … Also has experience in the pole vault.
