Bobcats open spring competition in Grand Forks, N.D., this Saturday
BOZEMAN, Mont. --- The Montana State women's tennis team will compete in 19 dual matches as part of its spring 2026 schedule, as announced by head coach Hailey Barrett on Thursday.
The Bobcats' spring slate will take them as far north and east as Grand Forks, N.D., where MSU will open competition on Jan. 17-18; around the Mountain West region to compete in Colorado, Idaho, and at home in Montana; and to the Pacific Coast as Montana State faces teams from Washington and Oregon. MSU will then head to Phoenix, Ariz., for the Big Sky Tournament from April 22-25 for postseason play.
"We are looking forward to a great spring season," Barrett said. "There are big opportunities all throughout the schedule, and we are ready for the challenge. Co-captains Angel Bean and Anna Wise will be tremendous leaders for our team. We are excited to build on the momentum from our fall season and start the spring strong. Go Cats!"
Montana State competes in six matches in January beginning with a pair of dual matches in Grand Forks this Saturday and Sunday. The Cats will face Marquette in their spring opener on Jan. 17 followed by North Dakota on Jan. 18.
