BOZEMAN, Mont. – Montana State women's tennis head coach Hailey Barrett announced the addition of a pair of players for the upcoming season. The Bobcats will welcome graduate transfer Stela Sifuentes and incoming freshman Naomi Jin to the team for the 2026-27 school year.
The duo will join the MSU program in the fall as the team looks to continue its success after making a third consecutive appearance in the Big Sky Tennis Championships to wrap up the spring season. The Bobcats found success in Barrett's first season at the helm with eight wins, including three straight conference victories to conclude the spring slate.
"We are so excited to welcome Naomi and Stela to the Bobcat family," Barrett said. "Naomi is a strong player who will bring great energy to the team and Stela will bring a wealth of experience as a graduate transfer. They are both great people who will be wonderful additions to our tennis community here in Bozeman."
Sifuentes joins the Bobcats after completing her undergraduate degree at St. Mary's University in Texas. The Eagle Pass, Texas native was named the South Central Region ITA Rookie of the Year in 2023 after becoming the first freshman in St. Mary's history to win 20 dual matches in her debut season.
