The first all-class Montana State men’s and women’s tennis reunion is slated for Aug 29-31, 2025, in Bozeman.
The first all-class Montana State men's and women's tennis reunion is slated for Aug 29-31, 2025, in Bozeman, announced former Bobcat mentor Jerry Peach, who is spearheading the event.
The reunion, open to all players that wore the Blue and Gold, starts Friday, Aug. 29 with a campus tour and a no-host dinner at Rendezvous Hall on the MSU campus.
"The idea for the reunion started when about fifty former players wanted to get together to support former assistant coach Dale Long (1985-90) who is facing health issues," Peach said. "This is the first time that former Bobcat tennis players have had the opportunity to come to Bozeman, visit the campus, and see former teammates.
"In some cases, there have been 40-50 years since some of these athletes have seen each other, as teams from the 1960's through 2020's will be coming to be a part of this fun event."
Saturday's activities include speakers, presentations, and a meet and greet with current Bobcat coaches and athletes. A former player tournament takes place from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center. The day culminates with a no-host mixer at Ponderosa Social beginning at 5 p.m.
The reunion concludes on Sunday with brunch at the Story Mansion in Bozeman from 9-10:30 a.m. Cost of the brunch is $30 per person, and $10 for children under 12. A dance will follow the brunch at 11 a.m.
Anyone interested in attending the event can call Peach at 406-839-6982 for more information. Rooms are still available at the Lewis and Clark Motel and The Element.
