Women’s Tennis Hosts Idaho, Idaho State

Over the course of the past two seasons, Montana State (8-8, 2-2) is 10-1 playing on its home court.
Montana State begins its stretch drive playing three of its final four matches within the warm confines of the Bobcat-Anderson Tennis Center beginning Friday when it hosts Idaho at 10 a.m. MSU concludes weekend play against Idaho State at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
Over the course of the past two seasons, Montana State (8-8, 2-2) is 10-1 playing on its home court.
"We're excited to be hosting two matches," said MSU head coach Suzie Woodburn. "We have a great support system and the best fans, and we love to be at home."
Montana State enters Friday's match 2-2 in Big Sky play after defeating Weber State 6-1 last Sunday afternoon in Ogden. Idaho (12-3, 4-1) sits third in the league standings behind Northern Arizona and Sacramento State. Idaho State is 9-10 overall and 2-4 in conference action.
"Idaho is having a phenomenal season and is a very tough, well-coached team," Woodburn said. "Idaho State is also a very good competitive team.
"We'll need to play our style of tennis and play for each other," she added. "We've been working hard all season for end of the year play."
Montana State closes out its home slate against Eastern Washington on April 18.
