Bobcats Drop Men's Tennis Decision at Utah State, 5-2

MSU takes two singles matches
Montana State's Dmitry Bezborodov and Harrison Janes won singles matched, but Utah State earned a 5-2 win over the Bobcats in a men's tennis dual in Logan, Utah on Sunday.
The Aggies captured the doubles point by taking wins at the second and third ladder spots, then took singles wins at No. 4, No. 2 and No. 3 to clinch the match. Trailing 4-0, Bezborodov took a three-set thriller. The Bobcat grad student split the first two games 6-4, 1-6, the took a 7-5 tie-break win to take set three 7-6. At No. 5, Harrison Janes too a 6-3, 0-6, 10-5 victory.
The Bobcats fall to 1-11 on the season, and the team next plays a pair of matches Friday in Boise. The Cats face Kennesaw State at 1 pm and Boise State at 6 pm, then play BSU again Saturday at 4 pm. Those three matches mark the beginning of a five-match, six-day road trip that also includes matches at Pacific University in Oregon and Sacramento State.
