Bobcats Drop 6-1 Men's Tennis Decision at Weber State on Saturday

Yassin Elaroussy cracks the win column for MSU
Montana State freshman Yassin Elaroussy won at No. 5 singles but Weber State proved too much for the Bobcats, capturing a 6-1 men's tennis win in Ogden on Saturday.
The Wildcats took the doubles point, then clinched the match with wins at the fourth, third and sixth ladder spots. WSU completed each in straight sets. At No. 1 singles, Dmitry Bezborodov fought Weber State's Tristan Sarap to a 4-6, 6-2, 6-1 decision in a three-set loss just prior to Elaroussy's win. He topped William Zulch 6-2, 3-6, 6-2, then MSU's Eddie Biss dropped a three-set match at No. 2 (5-7, 6-4, 6-3).
"Credit to Weber State," said Bobcat coach Mateus Ceolin. "They were the better team by far. Better energy, better fight, and they were the hungrier team. We will keep working."
Montana State plays at Utah State on Sunday.
