MSU freshman Camille Chantron takes a set at No. 5
Nevada captured the doubles point and kept rolling, taking a 4-0 decision against the Montana State men's tennis team in Spokane on Saturday.
MSU fell 6-2 No. 1 doubles and 6-1 at the third ladder spot to clinch one point. The Wolf Pack then won matches at the top three singles positions to clinch the team win. Those matches ended in straight sets. Bobcat freshman Camille Chantron took the first set at No. 5 singles in a match that went unfinished.
"We had a positive weekend," said MSU head coach Mateus Ceolin. "The guys gave good effort. I'm excited to have a weekend off from competition so we can spend this week practicing hard and ironing some things out. I'm looking forward to what these boys will do in February."
The Cats are off until a three-match weekend that begins on February 14, when MSU plays at Grand Canyon. The team follows that with neutral site matches against UC San Diego (February 15) and Hawaii (February 16).
