Bobcats Close Out Regular Season Play at Idaho State, Weber State

Montana State closes out its 2025 regular season and Big Sky Conference slate this week as it heads down the I-15 corridor to Idaho State and Weber State.
NEXT UP: Montana State closes out its 2025 regular season and Big Sky Conference slate this week as it heads down the I-15 corridor to Idaho State and Weber State. The Big Sky moves from its traditional Thursday/Saturday format this week. The Bobcats play at ISU, Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m., in Pocatello, and Friday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m., in Ogden, Utah. The change from the traditional days is due to the Big Sky Conference Tournament moving off of Thanksgiving. The BSC Tournament is slated to begin on Monday, Nov. 24 in Greeley, Colo. The Bobcats will stay on the road after its match at Weber State and will fly to Denver, Colo., on Saturday.
THE MIDDLE: Montana State's middle blocking duo of Camryn Greenwald and Joelie Spelts continue to play phenomenally in Big Sky Conference action. The tandem played a big part in MSU's sweeps over Eastern Washington and Idaho, last weekend in Shroyer Gym. Greenwald, a 6-2 senior from Woodbury, Minn., is averaging 2.28 kills per set, while hitting an impressive .369 from the field. Greenwald has been in double digit kills in six league matches, including a season-high 14 kills at Northern Arizona. In addition, she had recorded ten Big Sky matches hitting .300 or better. Spelts, a 6-3 junior from Gillette, Wyo., has been equally as productive, averaging 2.42 kills per set, while hitting .330 in conference play. Spelts has also tallied seven Big Sky matches in double figure kills, including a season-high 14 kills against Eastern Washington on Sept. 24. She has recorded seven matches, hitting .300 or better. The duo has combined for 107 blocks in Big Sky play.
MOVIN' ON UP: Lauren Lindseth moved into second on MSU's all-time career digs chart against Northern Arizona on Oct. 2 in Shroyer Gym. Last weekend against Eastern Washington and Idaho, she totaled 24 digs. Lindseth is just the second Bobcat to surpass the 1,900-dig milestone. Her career total stands at 1,925 digs. The native of Great Falls also moved into ninth on MSU's all-time service ace chart with 124 aces.

- Senior libero Lauren Lindseth averaged 4.00 digs per set as the Bobcats defeated Eastern Washington (3-0) and Idaho (3-0), last weekend in Shroyer Gym. On the season, Lindseth is averaging 4.67digs per set, which is first in the Big Sky Conference and ranks 33rd in the nation. Lindseth's current total of 448 digs is first in the Big Sky and ranks 59th in the country. She has 21 double-digit dig matches this season, including 11 with 20 or more saves.
- Senior middle blocker Camryn Greenwald is averaging 2.05 kills per set, while hitting a team-best .369 from the field. Greenwald's .369 attack mark is fourth best in the Big Sky and ranks 61st in the nation. The Woodbury, Minn., product had a career-high 17 kills in MSU's win over Maryland Eastern Shore on Sept. 4. Greenwald has registered nine matches this season, hitting .400 or better this season.
- Junior Joelie Spelts has been MSU's top blocker this season. The Gillette, Wyo., product averages 1.02 blocks per set, which includes a season-best seven blocks as the Bobcats dispatched Idaho State on Oct. 25. Her current 1.02 bps ranks eighth in the Big Sky.
- Montana State freshman Teagan Jaynes' return to the Bobcat starting rotation after missing several matches due to injuries in mid-September made an immediate impact. Jaynes, a setter from Northfield, Minn., averages 9.85 assists per set, which is tops in the Big Sky Conference heading into the final weekend of regular season action. She is also averaging .69 kps while hitting .211 overall. In addition, Jaynes has tallied a team-high 29 aces and is averaging 1.67 digs per set.
- Sophomore outside hitter Karli Heidemann leads the Bobcats averaging 3.06 kills per set, which is tenth best in the Big Sky Conference this season. The native of Diller, Neb., has been in double digit kills on 16 occasions this fall, which includes matching her career-high of 21 kills against Northern Arizona on Oct. 2. Defensively, she is second on the team averaging 2.22 digs per set. Heidemann has recorded seven matches in double figure digs, including a career-high 18 digs at Portland State. In addition, she has tallied 21 service aces.
- Sophomore outside hitter Teya Yeomans made her first start as a Bobcats against Idaho on Saturday afternoon and posted a career-best 10 kills. She averaged 2.83 kps in six sets against EWU and Idaho.
