FROM THE HEAT SHEET
- Sophomore thrower Matt Furdyk will go for his sixth win in the men's weight throw. He is undefeated in Worthington Arena and currently ranks third in the Big Sky with his mark of 19.69m (64-7.25). Senior Leah Klein is the top entrant in the women's weight throw; she broke into MSU's top-10 rankings in the event last week with a toss of 18.23m (59-9.75).
- Duncan Hamilton, Levi Taylor and Ben Perrin, amongst others, will try breaking the four-minute barrier in the men's mile. Hamilton is one of four Bobcats to go sub-four indoors; he broke four minutes again several weeks ago at the WSU Open with a 3:59.73.
- The women's mile is equally stacked, as Mya Dube leads six of her teammates in the second section of the event. Dube, Lindsey Paulson, Kendra Lusk and Ava Weems all went sub-five at the WSU Open in Spokane, Wash. earlier this season.
- Elena Carter returns to her marquee event: the 60-meter hurdles. Carter leads the Big Sky with her school record of 8.38 seconds, which she ran at the Cougar Classic Invitational on Jan. 13.
- MSU's freshmen duo of Stryder Todd-Fields and Xavier Simpson highlight the Bobcat entries in the 60-meter dash. The duo ran new top-10 times in the 60 meters last week with a 6.90 and a 6.92, respectively.
- Leading triple jumper Ian Fosdick makes his return and aims to improve his 15.05m (49-4.5), which ranks fifth in the conference. Fellow jumper Dylan Lee is the one to beat in the men's long jump; the true freshman is ninth in the Big Sky with his mark of 7.06m (23-2).
- Highlighted by senior Camila Noe, the meet will end with the women's 3,000 meter run. Noe is coming off breaking her own school record in the 5K at the Husky Classic last week.
