Matej Panik and Jamieson Nathan drop first round main draw match, compete in consolation bracket
The Montana State doubles team of Jamieson Nathan and Matej Panik dropped a three-set decision to the nation's 22nd-ranked team from SMU in the first round of the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Wednesday.
Adam Neff and Pranav Kumar defeated Nathan and Panik 6-4, 6-7(5), 10-5 at the University of Tulsa in the round of 32. On Thursday, the top Bobcat doubles team faces No. 4 Joshua Charlton and Quinn Vandecasteele of Oregon.
Panik and Nathan are the 23rd ranked doubles team in Division I men's tennis during the fall season. Thursday's match time is 2:30 pm, and it is available for video streaming.
