To earn all-academic team honors, the squad grade-point average must be a 3.20 or above with all varsity letterwinners factoring into the cumulative GPA for the academic year.
As a team, the Bobcats posted a cumulative 3.87 grade-point average, the highest mark within the Montana State Athletics Department. Named to the ITA team were Evi Buijsen, JJ Chen, Felicia Jayasaputra, Jazmin Lerman, Laura Mary, Mirte Van Baelen, and Enni Zander.
"Over my years at MSU I have been incredibly proud of our teams' commitment to academics," said MSU head coach Jon Reeves. "Due to the strength of Montana State's academic departments, we have been able to recruit strong academically minded student-athletes."
This season, Reeves returns four letterwinners led by sophomore Mirte Van Baelen of Mol, Belgium. MSU also welcomes four newcomers to the squad.
"We are excited to be recruiting at a higher athletic level than years before, and we are doing it while maintaining a tremendous academic level," Reeves stated. "Our team fully understands their opportunity to earn a tremendous education. I am confident they will treat this opportunity with great respect and take advantage of reaching future life goals."
MSU women's tennis also saw seven athletes named Big Sky Conference All-Academic last spring.
