Australia native adds depth, talent to Bobcat program...
BOZEMAN, Montana - Montana State men's tennis coach Trey Morris added talent and experience to his roster Tuesday, welcoming Lander University transfer Jamieson Nathan to the Bobcat program.
Nathan, originally from Canberra, Australia, comes to MSU as a sophomore. He compiled a 6-2 singles record in 2019-20, finished 6-3 overall this spring, and including all matches in his college career stands 77-23. He earned ITA Scholar-Athlete honors in 2019-20 with a 3.98 grade point average (out of 4.0). He reached an Australian Open men's ranking of 88, which includes all of the country's top professional players, and his Universal Tennis Rating is 12.13.
"Jamieson is a young man that everyone in the community should be excited about," Morris said. "He is truly a class act both on and off the court. Jamieson is gritty, tough, and knows what it takes to win at all levels of the game. I look forward to seeing Jamieson's hard-working mentality on a day-to-day basis pay off as he continues to develop and chase his goals on the court."
Morris indicated that Jamieson joins the program in August.
