Bobcats Close Out MSU Multis Meet Tuesday

Wyatt Thompson-Siporen joins MSU all-time top 10 list with performance in heptathlon Tuesday
BOZEMAN, Mont. – Wyatt Thompson-Siporen and Caleb Neth finished as Montana State's top two performers at the MSU Multis Meet on Tuesday, Jan. 8, inside Worthington Arena.
Thompson-Siporen, the individual leader following the first day of the men's heptathlon, completed the second day of the meet Tuesday with 5,194 points. His point total ranks him fourth in program history after his first multis appearance for the Bobcats. Thompson-Siporen benefited by completing the top pole vault among the heptathlon competitors clearing 16-04.75 (5.00m).
Neth wrapped up the heptathlon in second place with 4,709 points. He wrapped up his heptathlon appearance by taking first among the heptathletes in the 60 hurdles with a time of 9.18 seconds.
Noah Martin and Hunter Nicholson also participated in Tuesday's events. Martin scored 4,306 points despite not finishing the 1,000. Nicholson took fourth overall with 3,973 points.
The Bobcats are set to appear with their full men's and women's teams this Friday in Worthington Arena. Montana State will host the MSU Open with the first event scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m.
